H.E. Mrs. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Thailand, stated, “Under the theme ‘See Beyond, Feel Beyond’, each film invites viewers not only to see the stories unfolding on screen, but to look deeper into what lies beneath, exploring people, relationships, social change, and emotions. I hope the 21 films screened this year will spark meaningful conversations and foster a deeper appreciation of the connections between the EU and Thailand, demonstrating how cinema can build bridges of understanding and bring communities closer together.”
“Cinema has a unique power to connect people across cultures and generations. Through storytelling, it allows us to better understand one another’s experiences, values, and aspirations, making it a powerful tool for fostering cultural dialogue and strengthening relations between countries,” she added.
