TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO SUPPORT CARBON FARMING –TIMOR-LESTE

The Technical Assistance to Support Carbon Farming –Timor Leste (TASCF) Project focuses on establishing the enabling environment within Timor-Leste through the development of regulatory, institutional and policy framework, to allow carbon farming to prosper.

 

The TASCF Project’s specific objective is to develop the capacities of the Secretariat of State for Environment and other stakeholders to access the international carbon market to increase the climate resilience and income of smallholder farmers in Timor-Leste.

The TASCF Project is implemented by the National Directorate for Climate Change, under the General Directorate for Environment, National Designated Authority, as well as the Secretariat of State for Environment under the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, with funding support from the European Union.
