Description: This project is organised into a number of inter-linked components that are designed to empower civil society to become effective advocates and to actively engage in an inclusive and holistic approach to national development. This will be achieved through activities undertaken by the CSO's in an effort to hold Government accountable for delivery of priority commitments under the Sustainable Development Goals. It is being implemented by seven locally based civil society organisations led by United Way Trinidad and Tobago, in collaboration with Caribbean Natural Resources Institute, Veni Apwann, The University of the West Indies - Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS), the Women's Institute for Alternative Development, Network of NGOs for the Advancement of Women and Environment Tobago.
