At the opening, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernová spoke about the shared values of Ukraine and Europe — freedom, human dignity and resilience — and the power of cinema to bring people together.
The EU Delegation to Ukraine is proud to present the European Film Festival, featuring seven films from EU Member States, screened at "Zhovten" Cinema in Kyiv from 27 August to 4 September.
We are grateful to the Odesa International Film Festival for keeping culture and cinema alive and for strengthening the cultural bridges between Ukraine and Europe.
