28.02.2024

Dear interns of International Geneva,

On the occasion of International Women’s Day we would like to invite you to our #interNconnected event:

The Future is Female: Opportunities and Challenges for Women in Multilateralism”

Join us in his a conversation about past and current gender dynamics in diplomacy, challenges and opportunities of women in multilateralism, and the recent backlash in gender equality. The event will bring together female ambassadors from across all regions, creating a space for interaction with a young, motivated, and engaged audience of trainees and young professionals. The conversation will be moderated by trainees of the EU Delegation and is designed to allow the audience to engage, to share their views, and to participate in the discussion.

Get ready to participate and share your views in an interactive conversation with our esteemed guests:

  • Ambassador Lamia Fathi Abusedra of Libya
  • Ambassador Maira Macdonal Alvarez of Bolivia
  • Ambassador Himalee Arunatilaka of Sri Lanka
  • Ambassador Caroline Bwanali of Malawi
  • Ambassador Bathsheba Crocker of the United States.
