Commemorating the 10th Anniversary of the Creation of the UN Commission of Inquiry, this side event, to the 52nd session of the Human Rights Council, will look back on the achievements and challenges of the past 10 years. It will also explore ways to further address the human rights violations in the DPRK and to bridge the accountability gap. After the opening remarks of Ms. Christina Kokkinakis, Deputy Managing Director Global and Director for Values and Multilateral Relations at the European External Action Service (EEAS), there will be a Panel Discussion followed by interventions from the floor (if time allows).
