Thank you, Chairperson.I have the honour to speak on behalf of the European Union and its Member States. The Candidate Countries Montenegro* and Albania* and the EFTA country Norway, member of the European Economic Area align themselves with this statement.

Noting that we have not yet seen the progress that was promised when the complaint was closed two years ago with regard to implementation of National Tripartite Agreement of November 2017 and Roadmap of 2013, we expect that the technical cooperation project developed by the Office and approved by the tripartite constituents is implemented without delay and that throughout the duration of the implementation of the project the Office will report on its progress, in particular in addressing all pending issues of the Roadmap.

The EU and its Member States can therefore adopt the amendment decision point, as proposed just now by the employers’ spokesperson with the support of the workers’ spokesperson.Thank you, Chair.
