High-Level Ministerial Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution

Co-hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as Chair of the Ministerial Arab League / Organization of Islamic Cooperation Contact Group on Gaza (the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Indonesia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the State of Palestine, the State of Qatar, the Republic of Türkiye, the League of Arab States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation), the European Union and the Kingdom of Norway, the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution hereby has the honour of forwarding this save-the-date for the Global Alliance Ministerial at UNGA High-Level Week in September 2026.

Date & Time: Thursday, 24 September 2026 from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. 

Venue: United Nations Headquarters, New York, ECOSOC meeting room. 

Attendance: Ministerial level (FM + 2).

Two years after the launch of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution and one year after the launch of the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, foreign ministers will reconvene to take stock of the developments in the last year, the initiatives for peace in the Middle East, namely the Comprehensive Plan to End the Gaza Conflict and UNSC Resolution 2803 endorsing it, as well as the New York Declaration, and discuss options for the way forward in 2026-2027.

The High-level Ministerial session will seize the opportunity to consolidate and further promote the above-mentioned international initiatives and to create concrete proposals to be operationalised during the coming year in order to foster their implementation.
