Ambassador Martin Selmayr met with Ambassador Elizabeth McCullough at Villa Europa. Current geopolitical challenges at the UN Agencies in Rome were discussed and our common EU priorities regarding the fight against hunger in the world.
Ambassador McCullough’s unique UN experience will be a great asset for Team Europe in Rome. Ambassador Selmayr looks forward to a close cooperation and to the Irish Council presidency in the second half of 2026.
