Ambassador Martin Selmayr meets Oksana Osmachko,Ukraine’s Deputy Minister on EU-Integration and International cooperation

During the FAO Council, Ambassador Martin Selmayr had the privilege of exchanging views at Villa Europa with Oksana Osmachko, Ukraine’s Deputy Minister on EU-Integration and International cooperation. They discussed together the current geopolitical challenges, the continuing severe impact of Russia’s war of aggression on global food security as well as the important steps Ukraine is currently taking to prepare its agricultural sector for EU accession. I confirmed the EU’s unwavering support to Ukraine – as long as it takes.
