Director-General Charlina Vitcheva in Rome

At the UN‘s FAO, the EU is working with partners from around the globe on common rules and standards for sustainable fisheries. Today, the Director-General for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (MARE), Charlina Vitcheva and Ambassador Martin Selmayr had a very good and constructive meeting at FAO with the Deputy Director-General Godfrey Magwenzi. The EU continues to be a strong supporter and reliable partner of the rules-based international system with the UN at its core.
