EU Ambassador Martin Selmayr meets the new U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN

While at the WFP Executive Board meeting, Ambassador Martin Selmayr met and exchanged views this morning with Ambassador Lynda Blanchard, the new U.S. Permanent Representative to the UN Agencies in Rome. 

Ambassador Blanchard comes to Rome with a strong record in business and humanitarian work and brings a very welcome hands-on approach. Ambassador Martin Selmayr looks forward to close US and EU cooperation and partnership in Rome in pushing for real results for food security in the world. And for accountability, efficiency, and smart use of resources at the Rome-based agencies.
