EU Commissioner Costas Kadis at IFAD

The EU Commissioner Costas Kadis, responsible for Fisheries and Oceans, visits for the first time in Rome the UN’s International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

The future of our oceans, sustainable fisheries and a competitive aquaculture are areas in which the European Union and the IFAD are closely cooperating in many countries of the world. 

Commissioner Costas Kadis, met with IFAD President Alvaro Lario and his great team in Rome to discuss how we can further deepen our cooperation.
