EU Heads of Mission meeting at Villa Europa
A strong TeamEurope spirit characterized the EU Heads of Missions meeting at Villa Europa today.
The Permanent Representatives with their team, continue to coordinate at the EU Heads of Missions meetings the multilateral work at the UN in Rome. We prepared our next input to the FAO review process, discussed our positions for the Governing Council of IFAD and the Executive Board of WFP and exchanged views on the forthcoming leadership renewal at the 3 Rome-based UN agencies and on the future of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS).
The world is changing rapidly at the moment. In all this volatility, the EU will continue to be a reliable and predictable partner of the UN and a tireless defender of multilateralism, notably when it comes to the fight against hunger in the world.
