Ahead of an important Executive Board session of the WFP, the EU Ambassadors & Permanent Representatives to the UN in Rome met this morning to exchange views on how to best support the fight against hunger in the world. In a volatile global context, we continue to stand firmly behind WFP’s life-saving mandate, the hard and brave work of WFP staff and the continued commitment of WFP management to the UN’s sustainable development goals. Thanks a lot to WFP Chief and Carl Skau for their transparent and constructive work!
