Europe Day celebration in Parma

At the European College of Parma, Ambassador Martin Selmayr and Dr Chiara Zilioli, Member of the Faculty of the European College of Parma and Director General, Legal Services at the European Central Bank, participated as keynote speakers at the event entitled “Europe’s Youth: Between Present and Future”. The discussion brought together the Master’s students of the College, Parma University students, young citizens and the wider public.

Ambassador Martin Selmayr discussed today with students from all over the world about Europe’s values, interests and strengths in times of the current geopolitical storm. If we stand for the values of the European peace project, defend the rule of law and are aware of the unique attraction of our continent, we will weather this storm. Standing with Ukraine is a key requirement for Europe’s freedom and security.
