The European Union donates to FAO an art piece by artist Raul Orvieto

As sign of the EU’s strong commitment to sustainability and multilateralism, the EU donates to FAO, on the occasion of FAO’s 37th Session of FAO’s Committee on Fisheries, the art work AQUA ALLIANCE. 

It is part of the series “Marine Waste into Art” of the artist Raul Orvieto, who creates art works out of plastic garbage and other marine waste found at sea or at beaches. Some of these impressive art works are displayed in the FAO building in Rome this week.
