Former EU Commissioner Dacian Ciolos visits Villa Europa

Ambassador was honoured to receive the visit of Dacian Ciolos in Villa Europa. As former EU Commissioner for Agriculture, former Prime Minister of Romania and former leading Member of the European Parliament, he knows very well about the current geo-economics challenges for the world in general and sustainable agrifood systems in particular. Mr Dacina Ciolos and Ambassador Selmayr had a useful exchange about the Common Agricultural Policy, the agripolitical dimension of EU enlargement and the important responsibilities of the EU at the Rome-based UN agencies, notably at FAO.
