Heads of Missions Meeting with FAO DDG Beth Bechdol

Team Europe Rome had the privilege and the pleasure to exchange views with Beth Bechdol, FAO’s inspiring Deputy Director-General. At Villa Europa, discussions covered operational work and priorities of FAO, the FAO review and the UN80 process. 

While the world continues to be highly uncertain and while the UN system is under tremendous pressure, it is a relief to see that many important EU projects at FAO are in the hands of such a competent manager. Team Europe Rome was enthusiastic of the intervention made by FAO DDG Beth Bechdol.
