Ambassador Martin Selmayr had a good exchange about the state of the EU’s diplomatic relations with the Holy See and the importance of interreligious dialogue (Article 17 TFEU) following the impressive solemn inauguration of Pope Leo XIV. 

Interesting discussions were held together with EU Commissioner Magnus Brunner, European Parliament Vice-President Antonella Sberna, former European Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering, Nino Galetti of KASonline Italy and Alexander Winterstein European Commission.
