POPE RECEIVES DIPLOMATIC CORPS

The new Pope, Leo XIV, received for the first time the Diplomatic Corps on 16 May. He outlined his foreign policy, that inspired by the legacy of Leo XIII, will strive for peace, justice and truth. It was an honour for EU Ambassador Martin Selmayr to meet together with his colleagues, the new leader of 1,4 billion Catholics in the world. Pope Leo XIV told said that his own life experience has spanned North America, South America and Europe and he is the descendant of immigrants who chose to emigrate.
