Villa Europa welcomes Lithuania

Ambassador Martin Selmayr and his team met at Villa Europa with the Lithuanian colleagues Rolandas Taraškevičius, Vice-Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, Antanas Venckus, Head of the International Affairs and Export Promotion Unit, Ministry of Agriculture and Meda Nacickaite, Deputy Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the Rome-based Agencies.

The meeting was very productive in view of the Lithuanian Presidency of the EU Council in the first semester of 2027. Strong agreement was shown between the teams on the importance of stepping up the support for Ukraine in this 5th year of Russia‘s brutal war of aggression.
