Building the next generation of EU-UK creative partnerships: Factory International × EUNIC Creative Producers Programme

During the first week of July, the Factory International × EUNIC Creative Producers Programme, supported by the EU Delegation to the UK, took place in Manchester, bringing together emerging creative producers from across the EU and the UK for a week of professional development, networking and cultural exchange.

Delivered through a partnership with EUNIC London and Factory International, the programme welcomed 13 creative producers to Aviva Studios and venues across the city of Manchester. The participants represented 12 EU Member States (Austria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal and Sweden) alongside one Manchester-based producer.

Supported by the EU Delegation to the UK, the Factory International × EUNIC Creative Producers Programme reflected the European Union's commitment to strengthening cultural cooperation and people-to-people connections with the UK. By bringing together emerging cultural professionals from across Europe and the UK, the initiative fostered the exchange of ideas, best practices and expertise, while creating opportunities for future cross-border collaborations. It also reaffirmed the EU Delegation's commitment to investing in the next generation of creative leaders and demonstrated the important role that culture plays in strengthening international partnerships and deepening long-term EU-UK relations.
