Join us at Europe House to mark the European Day of Languages

18.09.2023

On the occasion of European Day of Languages, the EU Delegation to the UK and the European Parliament Liaison Office in the UK will be showcasing the opportunities to learn European Languages in the UK and hosting a panel event on best practices in European languages education across the UK. Join us from 1 PM on 26 September at Europe House, 32 Smith Square, London SW1P 3EU. No registration is required to engage with educators and browse through the showcase.

This showcase will culminate with a panel discussion on “Language Empowers: Advancing European Languages Education in the UK” at 5 PM. From GCSEs to Saturday schools, this event will showcase language education across the UK and raise awareness of the value of learning European languages. It will also provide key insights and best practices for headteachers and teachers looking to encourage their students to learn European languages.

Events will close with multi-lingual poems by Bella Cox (Spain) and Michaël Vidon (France). They previously performed at Europe House as part of Rhythm and Poetry Party (R.A.P) - you can catch a glimpse of their performances here:
