Events are planned across the UK to celebrate Europe Day 2026

On 20 April, the EU Delegation and the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) convened a high-level discussion at Europe House, bringing together 200 participants reflect on Europe’s place in a rapidly changing global landscape.

On 15 April, the EU and the UK enabled the UK's association to Erasmus+ in 2027. This means the UK will become an Erasmus+ partner country, delivering on a long-standing request from young people on both sides of the Channel and on the commitment made at the first EU-UK Summit in May 2025.

For the second time, the European Delegation to the UK and 19 EU London embassies hosted a “Taste of Europe” - a wide ranging event that brought together a high-level panel discussion with a vibrant food fair that united 45 companies and over 30 product categories from across 19 EU Member States in the beautiful surrounds of Sinfonia Smith Square right in the heat of Westminster.
