Assessing Risk as a Mosaic: How to Risk-proof Your Organization's Future

01.10.2022

European American Chamber of Commerce together with its members is developing a program series to explore the concept of Risk as a Mosaic and how it applies in diverse contexts - from the environment to finance to new technology - and how perceptions of risk and risk strategies have evolved over recent years. Taking part in the discussion will be prominent experts from diverse fields, all with the common denominator that their roles require foresight, agility, and lateral thinking in a rapidly changing world.
The first program will lay the groundwork for an in-depth analysis of the above-mentioned topics. If you are curious what the Future holds for you as an individual, your company and society as a whole you don’t want to miss this dialog.

Risk used to be quantifiable in terms of likelihood and impact, like “black swan” events of low probability but devastating consequences. Risk seemed manageable because it was discrete and quantified.

In the post-Covid world, new modes of communication refocused corporations on increased Cyber risk, the increasing complexity of global financial systems illustrated a need to expedite innovation in financial flows and payment systems.
The first program will lay the groundwork for an in-depth analysis of the above-mentioned topics. If you are curious what the Future holds for you as an individual, your company and society as a whole you don’t want to miss this dialog.
