Governor of Arkansas hosts EU-U.S. SME gathering

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson and Arkansas First Lady Susan Hutchinson welcomed small business delegations from the United States and Europe to the 10th U.S-EU SME Workshop, convened in Little Rock on September 18-19, 2019.

Officials from the U.S. Trade Representative, the U.S Department of Commerce, the U.S. Small Business Administration, the European Commission directorates-general for Trade and Internal Market/SMEs, and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission joint these business leaders from 75 companies and associations to discuss U.S.- EU trade issues, EU investment in Arkansas, small business participation in transatlantic supply chains, SME workforce development for global competitiveness, and U.S. and EU SMEs in industries of the future.
