Performance Schedule
All performances will take place on the stage located in ballroom to the left of main entrance
- 10:15-10:45am: Traditional Bulgarian Folkdance, Music & Theater – Bulgarian Educational and Cultural Center “St. Kliment Ohridski”
- Enjoy excerpts from our Musical of the Colors with song, folk dance and theater. Musical of the Colors depicts a story about students in an art class trying to color life with the colors of their dreams to bring smiles, awaken love, and the belief that children can change the world. Our youngest performers will present the Bulgarian folk dance, ruchenica. A theater performance tells the story of a group of kids working on a painting project in art class who get distracted and pretend to turn their art supplies into imaginary objects. These ordinary objects become "alive" in the hands of the kids. The teenage group will present the program finale: fast and elaborate rhythmic Bulgarian folk music.
- 11-11:30am: Irish Dance Performance – Culkin School of Irish Dance
- Experience a traditional Irish dance performance with the Culkin School! Our performance will include both soft shoe and hard shoe dancing. Get ready to tap your feet and clap your hands as we bring to life the timeless beauty of Irish dance with an array of jigs, reels, and hornpipes. For information about the Culkin School, visit culkinschool.com.
- 12:30-1pm: Ukrainian Traditional Folk Dance, Bandura & Violin Performances – Taras Shevchenko School of Ukrainian Studies, DC Music Academy, Kyiv Children's Music School #22 and SLAVA School of Ukrainian Music and Dance
- 1:15-1:45pm – Irish Dance Performance – District Academy of Irish Dance
- At District Irish Dance, we bring the energy and excitement of the Broadway stage direct to the studio and DC! Combining lively music, artistic choreography and a challenging workout, we aim to inspire and motivate every student. We're excited to be a part of Kids Euro Fest this year and hope you enjoy performers from our Junior and District Troupe as well as our Adult Performance Troupe.

Journey HOME
Presented by the Embassy of Ukraine, Ukraine House and the European Union, the “Journey HOME” installation invites visitors to walk through four stations, each representing a universal longing of Ukrainian children affected by war: Home, Education, Safety, and Family. By highlighting real testimonies in an open-air public space, the path turns personal stories into collective responsibility.
There will be four craft workshops for kids and adults at each station – Ukrainian traditional folk painting technique, building with tile mosaic, writing wishes on peace doves and creating floral pathways home, back to Ukraine.
The installation will be presented at Kids Euro Fest on October 18th, 2025, from 10am-2pm at the Embassy of Spain - Spanish Cultural Center at 2801 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20009. Families who wish to visit should navigate to the "library - biblioteca" directly behind the foyer upon entering the venue.

The Venue
Located at 2801 16th St NW, the Spanish Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. is housed in the former Residence of the Ambassadors of Spain. Designed by renowned architect George Oakley Totten and built in 1922, the Spain-USA Foundation renovated and converted the historic residence into the Spain/U.S. House, a cultural center that hosts exhibitions, performances, lectures, and other cultural events to promote dialogue and cooperation between Spain and the United States.
Many thanks to the Embassy of Spain and the Spanish Cultural Center for hosting Kids Euro Fest this year!

Bikes, Strollers and Scooters
We encourage families to bike to the venue! However, they will need to find a public bike rack to lock up their bikes before arriving, as there is no bike storage or parking available on grounds of the Spanish Cultural Center.

Noise & Quiet Spaces
The main ballroom where performances will take place, as well as several of the rooms within the cultural center will be loud, as there will be many families engaging in activities. We will have a story time corner as well as some quieter activities located in the indoor patio area. Weather permitting, we encourage guests to take a break and play in the private grassy area located outside the patio.
Breastfeeding & Changing Tables
While nursing is welcome in any part of the venue, if you'd like a quiet space to breastfeed, please approach a staff member. Folding tables will be set up in each bathroom for parents to use to change diapers.
