Launch of the campaign "Playing we learn our rights"

Today the Delegation of the European Union in Uruguay, the National Human Rights Institution (INDDHH) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (MEC) launched the campaign "Playing we learn our rights".

The Deputy Head of Mission of the EU Delegation, Tomas Pospisil, the Director of the INDDHH, Mariana Blengio, along with Ms Maia Amondarain from the Directorate of Education of the MEC participated.

This is an awareness campaign to promote human rights education for formal and non-formal educational settings. It consists of the presentation and dissemination of a memory game on the "Universal Declaration of Human Rights". The game is a teaching material produced by the INDDHH with the support of the European Union, in its second edition.

The campaign will be presented in November in the departments of Cerro Largo, Colonia, Montevideo, Paysandú, Río Negro and Salto.
