Launch of the environmental podcast ‘Voces Líderes’
For months, children from various schools have been working on the podcast ‘Voces Líderes’, which aims to give a voice to the younger generations by listening to their ideas and concerns about protecting the environment.

Prior to this, the participants had attended training sessions on the subject, which sparked their interest and encouraged them to take part in this project.
The children were not only speakers, they were also able to take part in the research into the various topics, as well as in the production and behind-the-scenes work for the seven episodes.

The call from younger generations for spaces for dialogue and the opportunity to participate in decision-making about the future of the planet is also reflected in this podcast. Children have a crucial role to play, and their views must be heard.
The Delegation of the European Union in Uruguay invited all participants to the official launch of the podcast, at an event where they shared their experiences and what they had learnt throughout the process.
