Within the framework of the "Win-Win" project funded by the European Union and organized by UN Women, the IDB Group and PwC, this award aims to:

  • Recognize the progress and good practices carried out by companies in Uruguay within the field of gender equality and labor complementarity.
  • Encourage business behaviors and policies that promote gender equality at all levels of the company.
  • Gather information on the progress of companies in Uruguay in this area.
  • Propose and guide the discussion and public analysis on organizational management in matters of gender equality.
  • Know and share the good organizational practices implemented.

In its first edition, in 2019, more than 60 Uruguayan companies participated. And today, there are already many companies in the country that are adopting policies and taking actions to promote gender equality and empower women in their companies and the community.

Those companies legally constituted and domiciled in Uruguay, national or multinational, for profit or not for profit, from any sector of activity and with a minimum of 10 collaborators are eligible to apply.
