Lorena Ponce de León visits the Delegation

Only days before the transfer of government in Uruguay, EU Ambassador Karl-Otto König received Lorena Ponce de León, wife of President-elect Luis Lacalle Pou, at the EU Delegation to talk about entrepreneurship, the development of SMEs and job creation.

Ambassador König explained to the future First Lady the scope of the InsPYraME UE project, which will seek to develop entrepreneurial spirit among women and the young through training and dialogue with the business leaders and the public and private sectors.

Training in international trade will also be offered, with special focus on the EU-Mercosur association agreement, and European Investment Forums will be organized.
