Team Europe Vienna - International Women´s Day Concert 2026

Saturday 7 March, Team Europe Vienna invited for a very special concert at the Wiener Konzerthaus - a celebration of the extraordinary women whose voices shaped classical music, and whose works have waited far too long to be heard.

Conducted by the brilliant Mag.ª Silvia Spinnato and performed by the Philharmonie Salzburg, the evening wove together masterworks by Marianna Martines, Louise Farrenc, Maddalena Lombardini Sirmen and Anna Amalia Herzogin von Sachsen-Weimar - composers of genius, finally taking centre stage. 🎻

This concert was a reminder that talent has never had a gender - only history did.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us - and to our Team Europe Vienna: EU Delegation, European Commission, European Parliament, the Fundamental Rights Agency, Energy Community and the European Investment Bank - for making this evening possible.
