The objective of the project is to contribute to increase accessibility to clean energy source in the Central of Vietnam on sustainable development basis.

Component 1: Regulatory development support is to support development of policies and regulations on solar energy and promote solar energy services to end-users and encourage R&D of solar energy.

Component 2: Investment support for installation of solar PV system in some selected to provide certain credit and technological and technical assistance to install pilot models of solar PV system in some selected facilities such as the local health centres and/or schools and some un-electrified poor households.

Component 3: Capacity building and knowledge exchange for solar energy development is to enhance capacity building and raise awareness to local government bodies, local authorities, energy managers, private investors, relevant stakeholder and even rural and remote households local government bodies, local authorities, energy mangers, private investors and even rural and remote households through on-job trainings, study tours or showroom for dissemination to have more opportunities to aces to and determine the best option of appropriate technologies, know-how, technical standards and application potential in the Central of Vietnam.
