Improved Governance in Herbal Value Chain
The overall objective of this action is to promote the contribution of CSOs to improved governance in herbal medicine value chain.
Specific objectives:
- Openness of and access to information about herbal material zones and herbal recipes will be promoted.
- Awareness and practice of business integrity and CSR will be improved amongst members of herbal medicine value chains.
- Accountability & legitimacy of CSOs as development actors will be promoted.
Result 1: Information about herbal material zones and herbal recipes is collected and disseminated for free, using IT application.
Result 2: Business integrity (BI) and Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) become a common routine of herbal medicine value chains.
Result 3: CSOs are seen by local and central authorities, and by international development partners - as important development actors.
