Stand up, Speak out - Breaking the silence around gender-based violence among ethnic minority communities in Northern Vietnam

The Action addresses GBV in ethnic minority communities in line with the specific objective of Lot 1 of the call for proposals: To promote gender equality via the elimination of gender-based violence (GBV) defined as a form of discrimination. In particular, the overall objective of the action is: To break the silence around gender based violence among ethnic minority communities in Northern Vietnam.

Three specific outcomes will support the action’s overall objective:

 

Specific Outcome 1: Ethnic minority women, men and local authorities understand and reject GBV.

 

Specific Outcome 2: Ethnic minority survivors of GBV have increased access to services prioritized in the Vietnam Government’s National Action Plan on GBV.

 

Specific Outcome 3: Ethnic minority women and men’s experience of GBV is included in advocacy activities led by Vietnamese civil society networks.
