Vacancy for a post of temporary Policy Officer
The Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam has a vacancy for a temporary post of Policy Officer working in the Political, Press and Information Section. The selected person will be hired under a local contract period will be 03 months, starting in mid-April 2024, with a possibility of extension.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing, assisting to the coordination meeting with EU Member States, Vietnamese authorities, taking notes and reporting on the outcomes of the meetings;
- Analysing and reporting to Headquarters on the political situation in Vietnam;
- Drafting of briefings, speeches and lines to take for Head of the Political, Press and Information section and Head of Delegation;
- Researching and compiling documentation;
- Assisting in the conception and implementation of public-diplomacy projects and campaigns.
Qualifications or special requirements:
- University degree in humanities, social, political or economic fields;
- At least 1 year of relevant experience;
- Perfect command of English;
- Proficiency in the use of Office suite; proficiency in multimedia applications is an asset;
- Additional qualification in another field (e.g. marketing, PR, journalism, multimedia);
- Experience in social media and event organisation is an asset;
- Non-Vietnamese national has to prove that he/she complies with the local labour and immigration regulation (work permit exemption and residence) in order to be hired.
Gross monthly salary: 3,063.00 EUR (non-negotiable)
