Supporting early economic revitalization through the support to labor intensive cash for work, and the restoration of community assets for basic services delivery.

Specific Objectives of the Action 

  • Enable vulnerable Yemeni households to enhance their income and livelihoods through participation in cash for work and asset upgrade/replacement 
  • Support basic healthcare facilities to be functional through community-based projects, provision of equipment, and provision of alternative and renewable energy sources (i.e. solar) to enhance their operational capacity, and improved water and medical waste management.
  • Local authorities can effetively plan, coordinate and monitor implementation of priority projects for enhanced basic srevices delivery, including health care
