The EU Ambassador to Zambia and COMESA – H.E. Jacek Jankowski was pleased to host the invitees at the EU Residence, including 10 Cabinet Ministers and the Secretary General of COMESA. He said: “The European Union and Zambia share the same future (..) democracy, prosperity and peace go hand in hand and are not granted forever. We must constantly strive for – and cultivate these values.(…) The European Union condemns - in the strongest possible terms - Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified brutal military aggression against Ukraine.”  During the EU reception, Zambian artists performed a play about the European Union’s history, showing also solidarity with Ukraine which is victim of Russian invasion.
