GLOBAL GATEWAY FLAGSHIP PROGRAMMES IN ZAMBIA

Global Gateway is the European strategy designed to enhance smart, clean, and secure connections in digital, energy, and transport sectors while strengthening global health, education, and research systems. This initiative follows a ‘Team Europe approach,’ uniting the EU, its Member States, and their financial and development institutions to mobilise private sector investments for sustainable growth. Between 2021 and 2027, Team Europe aims to mobilise up to €300 billion for transformational, high-quality projects that promote resilient and sustainable societies. The strategy ensures lasting benefits for local communities while providing opportunities for EU Member States’ private sectors to invest competitively, ensuring high environmental, labour, and financial management standards.
