Team Europe in Zambia is celebrating 56th Independence Anniversary

Tiyende pamodzi ndimutima umo! Happy 56th independence anniversary Zambia! As we stand and sing, proud and free, we remember that together we can build a stronger future.

In the spirit of standing stronger together, the European Union and its Member States present in Zambia (the Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and Sweden) - under the Team Europe initiative - were honoured to present a special gift that is at the heart of every Zambian. Different Zambian artists performed together the National Anthem giving it more modern and stylised vibe. Whilst the Ambassadors congratulated Zambia in English and 7 local languages.
