The second EU Multilateral Christmas Gala will take place on 18 December at 19:00 and on 19 December 2021 at 15:00, in Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna, Austria.

The second EU Multilateral Christmas Gala will take place on 18 and 19 December 2021, in Schlosstheater Schönbrunn in Vienna, Austria. The aim of the Gala is to show EU diversity and harmony, and also deliver the EU message by highlighting its policies and the importance of multilateralism and global sustainable partnerships. As the representation of the European Union, the EU Delegation in Vienna works with all UN bodies and agencies, the OSCE and other international organisations in Vienna. Multilateralism is a central element of the EU’s external policy, therefore, the Delegation is committed to contributing to the rules-based international order and multilateral cooperation. The Christmas Gala will contain performances combined with music, dance, and technology, highlighting multilateralism as well as European unity, solidarity, multilingualism, and cultural diversity of the European Union. Through the special musical arrangements and different genres, a trip through the European Union will be represented and will reflect the different EU languages and the cultural diversity. On December 18, the Gala will take place in the evening starting at 19:00 (CET), which will be followed by a Matinée event on December 19 starting at 15:00 (CET). The Première of the Gala took place at the EXPO2020 in Dubai as the final event of the EU Honour Day on October 23, 2021.
