Innovation meets business where Latin America and the Caribbean meet Europe

The success story of Ecuadorian company Solmovsa and the German startup MotionsCloud incorporating AI in the insurance sector is just one of the matches made by the EU-LAC Digital Accelerator. Businesses from both sides of the Atlantic are already benefitting from customised services that range from initial matching to B2B meetings, which can transform ideas into joint ventures.
The Digital Accelerator also leverages the impact of digital projects by connecting them with public and private investors and innovative financial tools. For instance, the Development Bank of Jamaica will provide financial support to Jamaican startups that are selected as part of the accelerator's future partnerships.
The Accelerator makes it possible to match business needs with innovative solutions. This is how Infotrack, a pioneering company in smart logistics from Colombia, met with the Spanish startup Bleecker Technologies, a spin-off from the University of Murcia. Through the Digital Accelerator, Bleecker Technologies has put its Artificial Vision technology at the service of Infotrack’s Smart Stock, a software designed to improve warehouse and inventory management.
