Who we are

The European Union is a unique economic and political union between 27 EU countries that together cover much of the continent.

The EU is represented through some 140 EU Delegations and Offices around the world.

The Delegation of the EU to El Salvador and to the Central American Integration System (SICA) promotes comprehensive policies and engages with political actors, the media, civil society, business and academia, to raise awareness about EU issues and values.

The Delegation also promotes the importance of the EU-El Salvador relationship among the Salvadoran public.

Who we are

The EU is represented by a Delegation based in San Salvador, which works in close coordination with the embassies of the EU Member States

The Delegation of the EU to El Salvador and to the Central American Integration System (SICA) promotes comprehensive policies and engages with political actors, the media, civil society, business and academia, to raise awareness about EU issues and values.

The Delegation also promotes the importance of the EU-El Salvador and EU-SICA relationships among the Salvadoran, Central American and European publics.

Our Delegation

The EU Delegation is comprised of 20 staff members who work together toward strengthening the EU-El Salvador relations
