Six Bolivian Organizations Receive Donations of Equipment from the EU EOM Bolivia 2025
The beneficiary organizations are Fundación Nuestra Esperanza, Centro Hospital San Francisco de Asís, Prudeco Sucre, Unidad Educativa Unión Europea, Colegio Voces Vitales, and the NGO Vital. All of them work with vulnerable groups and will be able to use the donated materials to strengthen their capacity to carry out their activities and objectives.
The equipment, distributed equally among the six organizations, includes more than 80 laptops, 100 mobile phones, backpacks, first-aid kits, and various office furnishings. All inventory was acquired exclusively to support the work of the European observers.
At the conclusion of its mandate, the donation of the equipment used also aims to leave a tangible legacy within civil society by transforming temporary resources into permanent assets for organizations committed to improving education, health, and human rights.
The EU Election Observation Mission arrived in the country last July following an official invitation from the Supreme Electoral Tribunal. Its task was to observe the quality of the electoral process and identify issues and possible solutions for the future. Its final report, presented yesterday, Monday 8 December, represents a contribution from the EU to the transparency of this essential act of Bolivian democracy.
