The EU EOM returns to Mozambique to present its Final Report and recommendations for future electoral processes
The European Union Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) has returned to Mozambique to present its Final Report on the General and Provincial Assembly Elections of 9 October 2024. The report provides a comprehensive analysis and assessment of the electoral process, as well as recommendations for the improvement of future elections.
Laura Ballarín Cereza, Chief Observer of the EU EOM, will arrive in Maputo on 29 January, and will present the Final Report to the authorities, political leaders, and civil society.
At a time when there is a widespread consensus on the need for electoral reforms, the recommendations of the EU EOM can contribute positively to the debate between the different political forces.
