On 4-6 September a delegation from the Iraqi Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency (FIIA) together with EUAM Iraq advisors visited the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) and the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) in Berlin, Germany.

The participants of the high-level meeting learned about the responsibilities and organisational structure of the BKA and the LKA. Special emphasis on the discussions was put on the cooperation and coordination of the departments of the BKA and the state criminal investigation offices. The BKA and the LKA representatives also introduced the personnel administration system for recruitment, training and education.

All participants appreciated the meeting in Germany facilitated by EUAM Iraq and wished for future cooperation and coordination.
