Building Capacity: EUAM RCA Supports Training of Future Trainers of the National Gendarmerie

As part of EUAM RCA’s support to the Ministry of Interior and Public Security (MISP) and the implementation of its Action Plan, the Mission’s Human Rights Adviser delivered today a targeted training session for 20 participants, including five women, drawn from the senior staff of the National Gendarmerie School in Kolongo.

The workshop is part of the first session of the Training of Trainers in Pedagogy, designed to strengthen the instructional capacities of National Gendarmerie personnel, with advisory and technical support provided by EUAM RCA. The programme is taking place from 19 January to 13 February 2026 at the National Gendarmerie School of Kolongo.

By investing in future trainers, EUAM RCA supports sustainable knowledge transfer, stronger institutions, and professional standards grounded in human rights and gender equality, contributing to nationally led security sector reform in the Central African Republic.
