EUAM RCA and France build on strong security cooperation
The arrival of France’s new Security Attaché in the Central African Republic provides a new opportunity to strengthen an already well-established partnership with EUAM RCA.
The Head of Mission of EUAM RCA welcomed Colonel Fracomprez, the newly appointed Security Attaché at the Embassy of France, for a courtesy visit to the Mission Headquarters in Bangui.
Their discussions focused on the security context in the Central African Republic, ongoing cooperation and opportunities to further coordinate efforts in support of the country’s Internal Security Forces.
From dialogue to concrete action:
Cooperation between EUAM RCA and the French Embassy goes beyond regular institutional exchanges. The two partners work closely on training activities, workshops, seminars and other initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacities and professional development of the Central African Internal Security Forces.
By combining expertise and coordinating their activities, EUAM RCA and the French Embassy seek to maximise the impact and complementarity of their respective support, in line with the priorities identified by the Central African authorities and partners.
The meeting with Colonel Fracomprez provided an opportunity not only to take stock of this established cooperation, but also to identify areas where coordination and synergies can be further strengthened.
Building on this solid foundation, EUAM RCA looks forward to continuing and deepening its close cooperation with the French Embassy, in support of more capable, professional and effective Internal Security Forces and sustainable security in the Central African Republic.
