EUAM RCA attends first Novena dedicated to the Central African Republic’s Defence and Internal Security Forces

EUAM RCA participated in the first-ever Novena dedicated to the Central African Republic’s Defence and Internal Security Forces, held at Camp Kassaï, reaffirming the Mission’s commitment to supporting the country’s security institutions and strengthening its partnership with national counterparts.

The Mission was represented by the Head of Mission, the Acting Deputy Head of Mission/Chief of Staff and the Head of the Operations Department.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by His Eminence Dieudonné Cardinal Nzapalainga under the high patronage and in the presence of His Excellency President Faustin-Archange Touadéra, Head of State and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The ceremony also brought together the President of the National Assembly, the Prime Minister, members of the Government, senior representatives of the National Gendarmerie and the National Police, as well as the Force Commander of EUTM RCA.

As the European Union’s civilian CSDP Mission in the Central African Republic, EUAM RCA works closely with national authorities to strengthen professional, accountable and effective internal security services. Participation in events of national significance reflects the Mission’s commitment to fostering trust, reinforcing partnerships and supporting the long-term development of resilient security institutions in the service of the Central African people.
